The importance of observation
How do designers solve "problems"? Where do you get visual creativity?
This is the meaning of observation. Being observant means paying attention to your surroundings, paying attention to details and analyzing them. Observation helps designers get creative. The sources of observation may come from artifacts, daily events, physical environment, etc.
Sense of place: by carefully observing and recording the environment around the designer, we can feel a lot of details. We should also pay attention to the application of appropriate design principles to create effective visual effects.
1. Understand your topic - if you understand it, you will notice more.
2. Slow down and look out - focus your attention on your surroundings with mindfulness.
3. Try something new - choose an activity that stimulates your senses and raises your consciousness.
4. Improve your attention by reducing interference - turn off the phone, quit social media, or go to a quiet place where you won't be disturbed.
5. Challenge yourself and conduct psychological training - a smarter and more agile brain will help you observe with greater insight.
6. Test your observation by playing memory games - describe a picture / list everything in the room, don't look.
7. Record and consider your observations - beyond what you see. Write down the smells and sounds you experience.
8. Be curious - ask questions and analyze your observations to add value to your work.
task
Item 2 - sense of place
We are asked to think about where we are now, or where we have been there for some time, or where we have left lasting memories in our hearts, express the sense of these places, and begin to record and observe the results with photos, diaries, conversations with relevant personnel, etc.
We will create and visualize these environments and observations, which can be collages and illustrations
Creative exploration:
There are many different styles and different ways of expression to express the feelings and emotions of the works.
I went to observe some old photos of China and made an indoor picture. Some Chinese elements are added

final design outcome
reflect:
The ability to observe requires a lot of practice and time., Perception of things is very important, a way to get more ideas., I'll keep trying
feedback
Project 2: You have applied design principles knowledge in the final design but as for the message, since there is no rationale to explain, it is not clear what the message is.
